BroRocks ("we", "our", or "us") operates the This Or That mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

  • Account Data: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and optionally a profile picture.
  • Content: Debates, comments, and votes you create or submit through the App.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, and interactions within the App.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
  • Log Data: IP address, crash reports, and performance data.

Advertising Data

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Supabase (database & authentication), Cloudflare R2 (media storage), Google AdMob (advertising).
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and users.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your account and data. You can also do this directly in the App via Profile → Delete Account.
  • Opt-out of personalized ads: You can reset your advertising ID in your Android device settings under Privacy → Ads.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete such data immediately.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the App or on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
